Please Note the Change in the
Dates for 2 MA Elks District Deputy Clinics In April
I have been informed of Date
changes for both the April MA East District and the MA South
District Deputy Clinics.
The MA East District Deputy Clinic will
be on Thursday April 29, 2010 at the Saugus/Everett Lodge instead of
April 22, 2010. And the MA South District Deputy Clinic at the New
Bedford Lodge will be on Thursday April 22, 2010 instead of April
29, 2010.
Sorry for any inconvenience these changes
may cause, please mark your calendars accordingly.

MA Elks Past State President Fred Cohen to Have Knee
Replacement Surgery
I have been informed that MA Elks Past State
President Fred Cohen, who also serves as President of the our State Major
Project, the MA Elks Scholarship, will be having both his knees replaced, with
surgery on his first knee schedule for Thursday March 25, 2010 at the New
England Baptist Hospital and then after rehab, he will have his other knee
replaced. With this, Fred wishes to send apologies for not making any of the
remaining Lodge Installations, but he is hoping to see everyone at the State
Meeting in May.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Fred, in hopes
of a speedy and successful recovery.

Please send me a list of all the Elks and
Officers of the year for 2009-2010 from the lodges in your respective
Districts, for publication into the next issue of the MA Elks News.
