It is my sad duty to
report on the passing of Brookline Lodge #886 Past
District Deputy Edwin F. Rogers, Jr., on Saturday May
30, 2009. He was the devoted father of Brookline Lodge
#886 Past District Deputy Edwin F. Rogers III and his
wife Jana of Westwood, and Lynne A. and her husband
Michael P. McDonough, of West Roxbury, brother of Joan
A. Di Beneditti of Falmouth and John J. Rogers of West
Roxbury. Grandfather of Edwin F. Rogers IV, Seamus and
Rory McDonough. Also survived by niece Christine Di
Sangro.
Funeral will be
held from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055
Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 9:45
AM. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church,
Brookline at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will
be Tuesday June 2, 2009 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM
- 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Contact
Brookline Lodge for any other information.
In lieu of flowers donations
may be made in his name to Elks National Foundation, c/o
40 Kent St. Brookline, Ma. 02445.

There will be a meeting of the family picnic committee on Monday June 1, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Hudson Lodge of Elks.
Please try and make it, it is very important we meet to go over the events that will be happening that day and to make sure everyone knows what they will be doing.
