MA Elks Day At Suffork Downs Has Been
Canceled Again
State Chairman for Elks Day at Suffork Downs Frank Staffier has informed
me that he has received notice that Suffork Downs has canceled all races
for Saturday May 22, 2010 and will be holding Horse Racing only on Sunday
May 23, 2010, as they can only hold horse racing one day on the Weekend.
So our MA Elks Day at Suffork Downs scheduled for May 22, 2010 has been
canceled. It is an unfortunate decision that we unfortunately have no
control over.
It was reported to me, that we would have had our most successful event
there in years. For everyone who purchased tickets, your checks will be
returned or you will be receiving a reimbursement check from the State
Association. I want to Thank everyone who supported this event and I once
again apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused.
