Taunton Lodge #150 Host Eagle
Scout Court of Honor
On May 28, 2009, the Taunton Lodge of Elks #150 hosted a reception
for the most recent Eagle Scout Court of Honor. In all 16 young men
received Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout. The
lodge welcomed local Scout Leaders, Eagle Scouts and their families,
and as part of the evenings festivities, Lee Davis, Exalted Ruler of
the Taunton Lodge of Elks and James Strojny President-Elect of the
Massachusetts Elks Association, presented each Eagle Scout with a
special certificate along with an American Flag, in recognition of
their hard work and dedication in becoming Eagle Scouts. Thanks
also goes out to members Coz and Dom Magazu for putting on the meal
for everyone back at the lodge.
