Passing of Newton Lodge # PER
Joseph V.
Auterio, Jr.
I have the sad duty to report on the passing of Joseph V.
Auterio, Jr. PER of the Newton Lodge,
at home after a short illness on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
Joe was the beloved husband of Elaine (Poirier). Loving
father of Denise Scanlon, Laura Napoleone and her husband
Gino, and Michelle Aliano, all of Medford.
Brother of Richard of Arlington, Mary Mahoney of NY,
Dorothy Auterio of Everett, Stephen Auterio of Quincy,
Carol Auterio of Arlington, Mark Auterio of West Roxbury,
Rosa Auterio of Jamaica Plain, Joanne Auterio of Lynn and
the late Margie Mahaney. Also survived by 9 grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are today Friday June 18, 2010 from 4:00 PM
to 8:00 PM, at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave.,
North Cambridge, MA.
An Elks Lodge of Sorrow will be held at 7:00 PM
Funeral will be on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in
Saint John's Church, Cambridge at 10:00 AM. Interment Oak
Grove Cemetery in Medford.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Liver
Foundation, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02161.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Auterio
Family and to the Newton Lodge on the loss of Joe.
