Passing of the Mother of MA East District Deputy John Tilas Beverly/Salem Lodge
Christine Tilas mother of MA Elks East District Deputy John Tilas passed away on Sunday February 22, 2008.  The wake and funeral arrangements are as follows:
 
The wake will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA, Tuesday February 24, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  The Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday February 25, 2009 at 10:00 AM.

Eileen Hanley mother of MA East District Deputy Esquire Designate Joseph Hanley passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2009.

ATTENTION CANIDATED’S RUNNING FOR STATE OFFICE:

Candidates:   If you are in a race for an office in the Mass State Elks Assoc.

I will need the following from you no later then the regional meeting in May, but the sooner the better no need to wait for the meeting, you can send your bios and pictures to me any time.

 

  1. A Short Bio about yourself, what you do for the Elks, work , your marriage status, kids etc;
  2. Please include your name, name and # of your Lodge, District and the position you are running for.
  3. A Picture of yourself in jacket and tie against a plain background.  (no tux, of flags please)
  4. If you are running unopposed, alI I need is your picture, name, lodge name and #, district and position you are running for, of course you can put in a bio if you choose to.

 Emailing your bios and pictures is the easiest and fastest way. Please make sure pictures are emailed as jpeg attachments and not within the email.  You can email them to me at harleyelk@comcast.net.   I will be unable to attend the

Regional meeting in May as I will be away that weekend with my family so I won't be taking pictures. My husband Joe Balestrieri, PSP will be there and will pick up any bios and pictures that haven't been mailed to me.
