New England Regional Elks Hoop Shoot Results

Massachusetts will once again have a representative trying to win a National Championship at the National Hoop Shoot next month in Springfield, MA.  His name is Jeremiah Sullivan and he is sponsored by the Attleboro Lodge #1014 and will be trying to win the National 10-11 Year Old Boys Division.  If his name sound familiar, that is because he was last year's 8-9 Year Old Boys Division National Champion !!!!!!

Pictured Above are the 6 regional winners over the week end in Portland Maine, photo compliments of Wayne Cotterly Maine Elks Association.

New MA Elks State Chairman of Vocational Scholarship Committee Announcement

As you all know, Mike DeVita was the State Chairman of the Vocational Scholarship Committee at the time of his death.

Mike's passing has left a void in the operation of this important committee. To assist with the completion of the committee's work, I have appointed PSP John Capitao as Chairman. John will follow through with the work that Mike had started and will ensure that the paperwork associated with the committee is finalized and that the scholarships are awarded.

If anyone has any questions concerning the committee, please feel free to contact John.

Fraternally,
Bill Reilly - President MA Elks Association
