What is the Lodge Secretary Advisory Group?

This is a new group of experienced Lodge Secretaries who are ready, willing and able to help any Lodge Secretary who has a question regarding the performance of his/her duties.

 Why was this group formed?

It was formed because a knowledgeable Lodge Secretary who properly fulfills his/her duties and responsibilities is a key ingredient necessary in the proper functioning of any lodge. There are many new and inexperienced Lodge Secretaries in the state. In some cases these new secretaries do not have, or feel they do not have, a credible and willing source they can call with questions.  This committee was formed to give any Lodge Secretary a quick available source of information to answer specific procedural questions. The goal is to make it known to all Lodge Secretaries that this committee has been formed specifically to help them know the proper procedures necessary to perform their secretarial duties.

How can a Lodge Secretary contact this group?

All the secretary has to do is make a phone call!  This year’s committee is made up of Chairman Mark Cronin and Consulting Members Dan DeGregorio, Jim Strojny and Ernie Brown. Check the State Directory for contact information.
